Maintenance of buildings
• Carrying out inspections of property, reporting on the general state of repair and advising on any maintenance works required.
• Preparing specifications of works. Submitting documents to tender and advising on tenders received.
• Dealing with the contract administration to completion.
Health and Safety matters
• Planning supervisory services to ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and Health and Safety regulations.
Reinstatement assessments for insurance purposes and insurance claims
• Visiting and measuring property, assessing the replacement cost of a building or part of a building for insurance reinstatement purposes.
• Dealing with insurance claims for subsidence/heave, fire, flood and storm damage.
Project management:
Construction monitoring (Employer’s Agent)
• Establishing requirements of client, advising on project team and developing a programme for implementation.
• Advising and dealing with costings, legal matters and contract procedures and establishing a management framework for the project team.
• Monitoring works in progress. Dealing with defects in the Defects Liability Period and obtaining drawings and manuals for future maintenance purposes.
• Project monitoring to advise on progress of works and costings.
